I Went to Carnival! I went to the beautiful City of Water, Venice. I went during Carnival of Venice, a mask festival. Let me tell you all about it!

Carnival of Venice is one of Italy's most famous festivals, and it is held around February every year. As it has a history of 900 years, it has been loved by people all over the world. It is a festival where men and women of all ages can enjoy walking around the streets wearing colorful masks and dresses, taking pictures, and singing together.

In ancient Europe, there was a difference in status between aristocrats and commoners. But during the festival, people could not tell who was who, so everyone could be friends and enjoy the festival regardless of their status.

When I went to the actual festival, I learned why this tradition had been passed down to this day. It is not about status, instead, about making friends. There were people of all ages and all nationalities enjoying the festival together. I learned from this trip that this is why the Carnival of Venice has been loved by many people all over the world to this day.
