Luminous Plants Could Change Our Future 

People who have experienced them remark that the light they produce is soft and beautiful, similar to moonlight. Others explain that the plants resemble those in the movie *Avatar*. So far, these plants have only had positive feedback. Scientists have bigger plans, though they are working on making more types of plants glow, such as roses and sunflowers.

Due to the abundance of glow that the plants give off, the plan for the future is to replace electric street lights with luminous trees that will help light up the sidewalks. In this way, we can reduce the use of electricity and help the environment.
